When Mama Says No, Call 1-800-Grandpa

Grandpa Harding left today after a nice long visit.  He was a poop-changing trooper!  He rolled up his sleeves and got right in to help.  It was so nice to have him here to see the boys and be a part of our everyday craziness.  We will miss him, but hopefully he will be back for another visit in a few short months.  Thanks Dad, we love you!

If you give a person a fish, they'll fish for a day. But if you train a person to fish, they'll fish for a lifetime.

Mom and Dad just got done washing the boat and Ryder really wanted to take a spin, but he's just a little too young.  Jason often talks about needing a bigger boat to teach all his boys how to fish the second they can hold a pole in their little hands...

"Rubber Ducky You're the One"

What else do we have to do but put our babies in a life size rubber ducky?!  We couldn't resist...

Nana and Grandpa Harding are here and not much outdoor fun has been had due to the HOT, HOT weather, but we are keeping ourselves entertained.  We have had some pretty fussy baby days and we all just hope that tomorrow will be the start of HAPPY BABIES once again!

A good friend of ours, Andi got married this past weekend and the grandparents were so wonderful to stay home with the boys all night Saturday to let us join in the festivities and it also allowed for mom and dad to stay the night at the Hilton!  It was a beautiful ceremony, a fun reception and I have to say mom and dad looked pretty GOOD! Ha!  We did get all dressed up for the occasion; it has been quite sometime that I got all dolled up.  We really enjoyed ourselves and were so thankful that we were able to go.

We don't have too much planned the next few days aside from hanging with the babes.  All is well in the Meade household.  Here are a few pics of our cuties!

It's all about Babies

Grandma Meade has come and gone; her 6 week visit went too fast!  We had a lot of visitors during her stay, a lot of changes in the boys and a lot of FUN!  The boys will miss her as will we, but SHE'LL BE BACK...

My Mom and Dad are out in Wisconsin visiting my sisters new baby, Naveah and their other granddaughter, Isabelle.  The will arrive here in TN on Wednesday.  Grandpa Harding will be visiting for a week and Nana will be here for 5 weeks.  I am very excited for their trip out here. The boys have changed so much since my mom last saw them and Grandpa hasn't seen them since before they left the NICU!!!

The boys are doing good.  They will be 5 mos on the 4th.  Ryder continues to keep me on my toes, but I am starting to understand him a little bit better; he is my challenge out of the 3. Yea, pay back I suppose... No, really they are doing wonderful and everyday getting more fun.  They continue to sleep thru the night.  They are ready for bed right after their 8pm bottle and half the time we are waking all of them for their 730am bottle...how lucky are we?!

The boys are more and more growing into their own "person".  Asher is still calm as ever.  We can place him in a boppy on the couch and he will kick his piano for an hour.  He absolutely LOVES music!  Any music that is near him he will just sit and listen to.  I used to sing songs you know...Bob Marley, the Grateful Dead, a little James Taylor, BUT its official...I now walk around the house singing baby songs.  I figured I needed to get into that mode sooner rather than later.  To spice it up; after singing the ABC song I will sing it in Spanish and then in German (maybe a little more fun for mom).

Skyler is learning to suck his thumb and really loves to watch people.  He seems to be a very observant baby...we are thinking a possible architect in the making.

Ryder is our little spit fire.  He really is full of life.  When he is sad he is sad and when he is happy he is the happiest baby on earth!  He is a very sensitive baby and very much aware of his surroundings and LOVES his brothers.

Well, we are sad Grandma M. is gone, we wish we were all closer.  It's really a wonderful thing to have their grandparents a part of their lives right now.The next 5 weeks will be fun, I am hoping to get the boys first visit to the zoo in.  As soon as this crazy, hot weather cools down...WE ARE THERE!!!!

I haven't been too good at taking pictures the past few weeks, but I will leave you...once again with some sweet baby boys.

Go Pack, Go!! A little preseason team spirit!!!

Grandpa Biggie was in town last week and the boys surprised him with their Packer garb.  We might have a battle of the onesies because I am sure that Grandpa H. will want the boys in 49er garb.  Oh...I think we should keep the peace and put them right where they belong...in their tye dyes mommy made for them.

We had a nice visit with Grandpa Biggie.  We went to brunch again and the boys did quite well.  It is still very hot so we bought a little pool for the boys and gave Skyler and little swim lesson...
Skyler LOVES the water!  I can't wait for next summer; all the boys will have swim lessons with Ms. Gene.  The boys continue to change.  I feel like everyday they are growing out of their clothes!  They are learning more and more everyday. It amazes me how quick babies grow up.

We continue to stay busy as ever. Our days go by with a blink of an eye.  I feel my 30's quickly going away! ahhh!!!  Grandma M. keeps up the pace and is shortly getting ready to go back home.  My parents will be here in a few weeks to help continue the flow of helpers.  WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THEM!!!???

We will leave you once again with a few more beautiful pictures of our gorgeous little blue-eyed boys...

Grins and Giggles

The boys continue to show us their cute little grins and give us those sweet little giggles.  Last week the boys had their 4 month shots and Asher had an appointment with a pediatric physical therapist.

The boys are all very healthy and growing big and strong!  Asher weighs 15lbs, Skyler weighs 15lbs 3 oz and Ryder weighs 13lbs.  They took their shots like champs!  Asher went to see a P.T because we have noticed over the last month or so that he has one dominate side that he likes to lay on and refuses to turn his head the opposite direction.  The Dr. didn't seem too concerned, but we will start P.T. on Asher's neck this week and learn some good exercises to help him strengthen the weaker side.

It's been so HOT here this summer.  We aren't able to do much with the boys outside.  It is very hard to get them out for walks so Grandma is teaching them how to shop! They sleep thru most of it (much like what Jason would prefer to do) but really are very patient.  It's kind of funny to go out with triplets.  We can go out and not one person bother to look our way or we get people that say "oh twins!" "no, oh my gosh, TRIPLETS!".  It's quite funny.  The people that do notice usually run back to whomever they are with and bring them over to look at the boys.  Yup, the Meade entourage!  Gotta love it!

Yesterday, Grandma and I were craving the need to go out for brunch so we did it!  We took the boys out to their first brunch.  We pumped them full of milk and then off to dreamland they went!  They slept (once again) thru the whole brunch.  (It's amazing what we can do when these guys have their bellies full.)  We then decided to stretch our outing and went for a Sunday drive in our new SWAGGER WAGON!

Yes, I have gone to the otherside...we now have a minivan.  Never in a million years did I think I would be in a minivan.  I do have to admit, it makes life easier and I do enjoy driving it.

I am an Aunt again!  My sister, Shanna had a baby girl over the weekend.  Her name is Nevaeh. Now my parents have 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons.  I am thinking this is all they get, but you never know...

Well, that's it for now.  Grandpa Meade comes in for a short visit this weekend.  I am sure we will get more pics posted soon, but for now here is one of Asher sitting like a big boy!

Orange Whips

"Orange whip?...Orange whip?...Three Orange Whips!"

Exhausted at the computer again.  Sort of feel like it was 3 months ago, but es not.  The boys are now 4 months old, was a little golden birthday on Sunday.  We partied all day and all night with frothy orange drinks and good company.  Grandpa Biggie, Uncle Mikey, G Mama, Mom, myself, Asher, Skyler, and Ryder were all in attendance.  Fun was had by all....

Let me share some pictures of the past weeks rather than banter some more crazy nonsense.

The Meade Family Visit:

We found out quickly that if the boys were a little fussy they just needed a little "Grandpa Time"

Or some quality words of wisdom from Uncle Mikey
So I hope these pictures can convey what my tired brain can not.  We've had a lot of company in the past few weeks and it has been a blast.  They boys have been growing ridiculously fast.  Each day we discover something new from them.  Asher can almost roll over; Skyler is working on his best Mr. Ed impression, and Ryder continues to "ham" it up.  They continue to amaze us.  - Jason
