All is Well

Saw the doctor today.  Ultrasounds, babies, and Summer all look good.  Ryder still has an elevated fetal doppler, so next week's growth ultrasound will be interesting.  If he hasn't grown a pound, then we will consider bringing these little guys into the world.  But for now all is well.  Summer's swelling has gone down making her much more comfortable.  Grandma H. is here which has been awesome.  And Grandma M. will be here on Tuesday.  Then we have both Grandpas coming the end of next week.  It will be a full house and oh so much fun.  - J

Baby Weights

Went in for growth measurements today.  The babies have grown; I'm not sure where Summer is keeping them.

Baby A (Asher) = 3.6 lbs
Baby B (Skyler) = 3.5 lbs
Baby C (Ryder) = 2.7 lbs

Ryder is a bit low and a little concerning.  Summer will be getting growth measurements again in two weeks.  Hopefully by then he has caught up.  If not there may need to be a delivery.  The doctor should be in later today to talk with us about all of it.

Summer is doing fine.  Last night she had me bring in her work computer so she can get back to it.  At least it will occupy her mind and time.  Grandma H. is coming on Friday and maybe Grandma M early next week.  It's gonna be a party up in here.

A Room with a View

We just talked to the doctor.  He is willing to keep an open mind for the next couple of days, but most likely Summer can call room #10 her home for the next few weeks.  We were also able to get the run down from a neonatologist as to what will happen when the babies are born.  The good news is that we are at 29 weeks.  If we had to deliver tomorrow, the babies and Mom would have excellent odds of a great outcome.

Still Waiting

Summer had some more contractions last night.  They put her on the machine and recorded 5 bigger ones and several more smaller ones.  The doctor is in surgery this morning, so we wait and see what he has to say about it.

Mama on the Move

Summer's contractions continue to subside.  She met with the doctor this morning and he is going to take her off the contraction monitor.  He wants her to take three ten minute walks today as well as a shower.  As long as these tasks don't cause her to start contracting, he is going to let her go home tomorrow.  On bed rest of course, but at least Bella will have a buddy to hang out with.

So I am at work now getting things in order so I can take some walks around the hospital with her this afternoon.
