Take one Down & Pass it Around

So it was a crazy past few days with the sister's here.  Aunties' Julie, Dawn, Laurie, and Laurie came to visit and pick up Grandma.  It was great having them here.  Upon arrival they immediately scooped up the boys due to sheer excitement.  Their eagerness continued for the rest of the trip.  It was nice to take a break from the poopy pants and feedings.  They even so graciously took over some of the night feedings.  Summer and I both got a good night's sleep last night; the first in 9.5 weeks.  We really had some great times, and wished they could have stayed longer.

So Grandma has left us while Nana has joined us for the next 6 weeks.  Nana has learned a lot over the past few days and tackles her first solo night shift this evening.  Here is Nana figuring out the "new" bottles:

We know she'll do a great job!

We are already missing Grandma.  She had a great "way" with the boys and was the only person that could settle Ryder down.  We took notes as best we could, even stuffed a shirt or two to imitate her skillz.  Thanks for all  your help.  Hopefully you can get some rest, but those of us that know you best know you'll probably keep trucking along at the usual "Cindy" pace.  See you in six.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms!

  1. Cute pics! Love the picture of Julie with the boys, very cute. And of course all of the other pics are just as cute. Thank you for keeping the blog up and running...it's a joy to see the boys and all of the action that is going on. I'm sure that the "changing of the guard" for the grandmas will go smoothly and with how time goes, six weeks from now will be here in a flash. Happy Mother's Day Sum...what an extra, extra, extra special Mother's Day for you. Enjoy!
