I thought I would update on how we are all doing now that we are nearing the end of summer. I apologize now for such a LONG blog, but its been awhile and I just have so many great pictures!
We had a great summer with many family visitors which made time just fly by! I can't believe we are almost into September! Where do these months go? The weather here in Knoxville has just been insane. I actually saw this morning that the whole week was going to be in the high 80's...Yippee!!! I or should I say, we are SOOOO ready for fall weather! We took a long, long walk thru the park today!

This summer was a little hard for me. Quitting my job, having three babies and having to stay inside 95% of the time really made the walls of this house feel small! We generally would go shopping just to get out and that literally was most of our outdoor adventure excitement, except for a few Dr. visits here and there and a possible outing to my old work place to "show-off" our cuties.
Okay, now updates on our Family...
Asher: He continues to grow and change everyday! We have physical therapy once a week to help with his torticollis and we have already seen a difference in the last few weeks of working with him at home so I do believe the P.T. will work wonders!

Skyler: I thought for the longest time that Ryder was going to be our rowdy one, the one to always keep us on our toes, but...I am starting to think we will need eagle eyes for Sky! He is hilarious! He never sits still, he constantly is making noises, laughing, rolling over and just being a Ham. He has changed the most over the last several weeks and (per the video)has given us so many laughs.

Ryder: We have had a lot of ups and downs with Ry, he has had the most trouble with reflux and tummy pains, but since the recent idea of trying out probiotics he has made almost a 180! He is such a happier baby, and most of the time smiles all day long. I am a much happier mommy now that I feel Ryder is getting better.

All in all the boys are between 17-18lbs each, healthy and continue to change and give us something to laugh about. They will soon be 6 mos old and we will start food!!

Now on to mom and dad updates:
Jason aka Daddy: He is busy at work and then comes home to busy. I think he is surviving the dual roles and even gets a little "me" time. He hasn't been fishing much this year (next year should be better), but he was involved in a summer soccer league that just finished up. He will also be playing this fall. He continues to be the glue to our big family...he keeps me calm when I feel like I can't handle another hard, fussy baby day! He is a wonderful dad and continues to be the best husband and best friend I could have ever asked for.
Summer aka Mommy: I spend my days working too...it is always an active day with three baby boys. A routine that doesn't change much other than one day I might give a bath, one day I might take a baby with me to run some errands or one night I might have one more glass of wine than the previous...hee hee.
It really is nice to be home with the boys to see them change and have that one on one time with them...I do feel lucky I have this time, but I do also want to keep my mind busy with other stuff. I recently enrolled in a "how to make baby food" class at the University of TN and I enrolled in a photography class! I am super excited for both. Photography is something I have always loved and Jason really pushed me to take the class and I am glad he did. I also recently decided that I wanted to try and keep my foot in the door with my career. This is not something I can do full-time, but I have formed an LLC and HOPE (with the support of Jason, a friend of mine and the Grandmas)to do some contract work with banks, closing commercial, small business loans. This is something I have wanted to do for the last few years and I am going to give it a try. I don't have expectations in this, I would love to be working from home and be home for the boys, but if this doesn't seem to work out then I can say I tried.
There is always something going on around here. We thought we were busy before the babies, well we are triple the busy and still somehow find a bit of down time. Its all about the routine and the crazy schedule...we really seem to have made it work. There are the days where I think I have failed at being a mom to triplets because it really isn't easy, but once I have my "woe is me time" I get over it and realize its going to be fine.
I hope you have enjoyed this LONG blog and the great pics of our family. Lucky you...there will always be more...
