Did You Miss Us?

Okay, I am sure we have plenty of people wondering why we haven't updated the blog in weeks.  Its been a busy few weeks!  Now that the Grandmas aren't here to help in the evenings, its harder to find the time to blog.  We will try to do better.

The family visit was wonderful as always.  It has kind of been a tradition for the Meade cousins to get together every year around Halloween.  For years it has been either Jessie or Emily bringing one more new addition to the family, but this year...yes, this year it was US!  We were the ones adding 3 little munchkins to the mix!  Emily and the crew weren't able to make it this year, but we did miss them.

Here are a few pictures that capture the moments: sorry, but there are a lot!)

Now that we are one adult down, life in the Meade household is a steady, crazy-busy.  We are go, go, go!  We do seem to have it under control and we are enjoying our time as a family.  It has been beautiful here so the evenings are spent walking with the boys.

Our new nanny, Jenna is working out great.  The boys love her, she is wonderful with them and a big help to us. Jenna has allowed me to spend a few more hours a day working on getting some business in the door and does a few baby related household chores, which in return lets me hang with the boys during the day when I am not working.

Jenna and I took the kids to the park on Thursday.  It was 74 degrees outside so we decided to grab some lunch, the strollers and spent a few quality hours with the boys enjoying a picnic and a nice long walk.  I think we all needed it!

Jason and I are still able to get away here and there.  Jason has gone fishing a few times during the day and I was able to go to dinner a few nights with some of my girlfriends.  We still need a night out for just the two of us, but we have yet to find someone that feels comfortable helping at night.

The boys are doing good.  They are quite a handful, but different than months ago.  We are having so much fun seeing how fast they grow, but still can not believe babies grow so fast.  They are now 8 mos and shy of 9 mos.  They are still sleeping fairly well thru the night and eating their new found solids like champs.  I am still keeping up with making all of their food.  I really enjoy it, I love knowing exactly what goes in their little bodies.

Asher is still in P.T and doing great. Jan, his physical therapist just loves Asher and he adores her; every time she comes to get us in the waiting room she picks him up and he doesn't stop starring at her.  He is completely in awe of her. He is rolling and working on keeping his balance at sitting.  He is still sweet and loving as ever and getting so big!  He has one little tooth coming in and I am sure more coming soon.

Skyler is cruzin!  He is rolling all over the place, sitting, trying to crawl, has two full bottom teeth and never, ever stops moving...ever!

Ryder might have surpassed Skyler in the weight catagory, but still a small, little guy. He is full of smiles and giggles.  He might possibly be the most ticklish kid I have ever known.  He also has two bottom teeth, is sitting like a pro, but gave up rolling over.  He has never liked his tummy so we are working on that with him.  He just had a big "to do" today; yes folks...our little boy said, "mama"!  We tried to get it on video, but naturally it was a flop.  It was so cute I think we scared him because Jason and I were yelling "woo hoo"and clapping.

Here are just a few more pics:

Are you ready to RUMBLE!!!

As you all can see they are growing at a rapid pace.  Sorry for such a long wait, but I hope that you can enjoy the great pics and this long blog.  I have just one more thing to add...

As some of you might know, my sister, Carrie has been battling cancer.  She is currently in the hospital for a super, duper round of chemo and then on the 18th she will have a bone marrow transplant.  We ask that you keep her in your thoughts, your hearts or your prayers which ever you desire.  It will be a very long road to recovery, but my mom will be out in Wisconsin for the next 6 mos taking care of her.  We are all thinking about you Carrie and we love you.  Stay strong and kick this in the butt!  The boys send you lots and lots of slobbery kisses!
